 Responsibilities and Experience

John R. Salvatore: As a Managing Member and Director, John is primarily responsible for the identification and evaluation of all of the Partnership’s acquisitions; the securing of acquisition and permanent financing and overseeing the leasing of the property.   John’s extensive commercial real estate experience includes financial analysis, asset management, and leasing.

John’s past experience as Managing Partner of Robeck Realty Advisors includes the identification of, due diligence for and acquisition negotiations for over $200 million in real estate over a eighteen-year period on behalf of multiple general partnerships. Additionally, John has been intimately involved in securing acquisition financing on behalf of the aforementioned general partnerships.

Most recently, John has directed the acquisition and asset management of several premier developments in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida. These opportunities included both retail and office redevelopments in which nationally recognized tenants competed aggressively to secure leaseholds. These tenants included Starbuck’s, CVS, Walgreen’s, Whole Foods, Roche Bros, Trader Joe’s, H&R Block, Newman Associates Inc., TAC Worldwide, TD Waterhouse and others. He is currently in negotiations with companies such as Merrill Lynch, Fidelity and Realty Financial Partners to secure “up-front” financing and equity participation commitments for several outstanding redevelopment acquisitions in Middlesex and Norfolk Counties, Massachusetts that offer significant leasehold opportunities to an array of national retail and office tenants and the potential for substantial returns to investors.

John’s broad real estate experience over the past 18 years has created integrated opportunities in many industry organizations. John is an active participant of the National Legislative Action Committee and the Education Committee of The Institute of Real Estate Management as well as an active participant of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Both organizations are working toward effecting change within the legislature that would directly benefit real estate owners and developers.

John is currently on the Westwood economic Advisory Board and the Hale Reservation Corporate Board. He also served as President of the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1998. His accomplishments during his term included the creation of the Chapter’s profitable web site, increased membership, and a fundraising/endowment fund established to offset future member dues. John was also selected by The Banker & Tradesman as one of the top 125 “Leaders that make a difference” in 1998
